SHAWANO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Timothy Pehlke has been identified as the man whose body was found Wednesday near the Mountain Bay Trail in Shawano.
A family member posted his name on social media, and the identity was confirmed Friday by Shawano Police Chief Michael Musolff.
Police are waiting for autopsy results before releasing additional information, he said.
Just before 7 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a report of an unresponsive male near the side of the Mountain Bay Trail on the east side of the city.
“We do not feel there is any danger to the community based on the scene,” Musolff said earlier in the week.
