(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers beat the New York Mets 3-2 at American Family Field in Milwaukee for their seventh consecutive win Friday night.
The Brewers scored all their runs in the fifth inning on a 2-run home run by Brice Turang and a bases-loaded hit-by-pitch to Isaac Collins that scored Joey Ortiz.
The Mets got their runs on solo home runs by Juan Soto and Sterling Marte.
Brandon Woodruff allowed 2 runs on 3 hits and 2 walks while striking out 8 over 7 innings to get the win.
Abner Uribe pitched a scoreless eighth inning with Trevor Megill closing out the game with a scoreless ninth inning.
