Misael Antonio Pastrana-Guevara (Brown Co. Jail)
GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Misael Pastrana-Guevara was sentenced Thursday to three months in jail for driving over a police officer’s foot after a traffic stop.
Pastrana-Guevara, 30, previously pleaded guilty to second-degree reckless injury and operating while intoxicated causing injury in connection with the Nov. 19, 2023, traffic stop.
He was also placed on probation for three years, fined $600, and his driver’s license was suspended for 18 months by Judge Marc Hammer.
Before the sentence was issued, Pastrana-Guevara declined to comment to court.
The injured officer did not appear in court.
The incident happened while an officer was investigating a disturbance in the 700 block of Bodart Street.
A still image from the officer’s body camera shows a pickup truck drive really close to the officer, who was talking with a bystander, and then proceeded to run over the officer’s foot.
The officer did not miss any time away from work due to the incident and no one else was injured.
