KAUKAUNA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Authorities are giving the community a heads up about upcoming law enforcement training in Kaukauna.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office is hosting local first responders for mass casualty/active shooter training at Kaukauna High School.
The exercises will take place July 9, 10, 16 and 17.
The purpose of the training is to give police and fire departments and first responders a chance to practice coordinating their efforts at an emergency event.
“We want to reassure the public there is no cause for alarm,” the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
