OSHKOSH, Wis. (WLUK) – The Oshkosh Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred in Menominee Park, near the 1200 block of Irving Ave., Saturday night.
According to a release from Sergeant Chrise Gorte, officers were called to a car crash in the 900 block of East Irving Ave. around 11 p.m. where they found an adult man, the driver of the vehicle, dead with multiple stab wounds.
A 19-year-old man from Fond du Lac was taken into custody. The suspect is being held on suspicion of first-degree intentional homicide.
After further investigation officers discovered there was a fight that took place between multiple people in Menominee Park which resulted in one man being stabbed.
