Weyauwega Police Department
WEYAUWEGA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A cyber tip led to the arrest of a Weyauwega man on child pornography possession charges.
An investigation began in April after Weyauwega police received a tip regarding child sexual abuse material.
Through the investigation, police were able to identify the suspect as someone who lives in Weyauwega.
On Tuesday, the suspect’s residence was searched and he was taken into custody.
Police say they are not releasing any further information at this time.
