WPS donates $150K to Green Bay Public Market project

GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A campaign supporting the Green Bay Public Market build got a boost from Wisconsin Public Service.

The Green Bay Public Market on Broadway is an indoor venue featuring up to two dozen merchants offering locally sourced produce and packaged goods year-round.

On Thursday, WPS donated $150,000 toward the $12.5 million campaign.

The redevelopment of Old Fort Square began last year and was expected to be open for the NFL Draft in April, however the project experienced some setbacks. A new opening date has not been announced.
