GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Green Bay Police Department welcomes two new officers and promotes one officer.
A swearing-in and promotional ceremony Monday welcomed Patrol Officer John Lannoye and Patrol Officer Rogelio Contreras-Gomez to the department, bringing the total number of sworn staff to 174.
“A career in policing is a great opportunity to make a difference – sometimes you won’t even know the difference you’ve made. Please join me in congratulating all three individuals with the Green Bay Police Department,” said Chief Chris Davis, Green Bay Police Department.
And during the ceremony, Officer Bashir Buruin, six years with the department, was promoted to sergeant.
