(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers got beat the Tampa Bay Rays on Friday when Taylor Walls scored on a bases-loaded walk in the eighth inning.
Losing pitcher Jared Koenigs issued the walk.
Jose Quintana started for the Brewers and went 5 1/3 innings, allowing 3 runs (1 earned) on 5 hits and 2 walks.
The Brewers got their runs on a run-scoring single by William Contreras in the first inning, a ground out in the third and a Rhys Hoskins single in the eighth inning.
The two teams meet again this afternoon with the pre-game at 2:35 on 1360 and 97.5 WTAQ.
