Wisconsin Badgers volleyball loses star player to transfer portal

(LEARFIELD) – One of the University of Wisconsin’s top volleyball players is entering the transfer portal.

Sophomore Lola Schumacher started 23 matches last season and was named to the All-Big Ten freshman team.

The transfer portal for volleyball players opened Thursday.

Schumacher was the Badgers’ libero. She led the team with 3.64 digs per set.
