GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A Green Bay committee has unanimously recommended raising the parking ramp rates for three days during the week of the NFL Draft.
The Improvement and Services Committee voted on Wednesday to recommend doubling parking ramp rates on Wednesday through Friday of draft week.
City officials say the increase is necessary to cover the expenses for additional staffing and maintenance due to the expected surge in ramp usage.
Prices would go from $1 an hour or $12 per day to $2 an hour or $24 per day.
The full city council will vote on the issue on Tuesday.
