OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Those who live in or drive through Black Creek and Shiocton can learn more about construction coming to highways 47 and 54 at an upcoming meeting.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says the construction zones will be on 8.8 miles of Highway 54 from just west of House Road in the town of Liberty to Park Avenue in Shiocton and 8.6 miles of Highway 47 from Highway B in Black Creek to the north Outagamie County line in the town of Cicero.
Both road resurfacing projects will take place this year.
A virtual public meeting is set for 5 p.m. April 2. DOT engineers will share construction maps, road closure information, detour displays, the schedule of operations and temporary signing permits for businesses that are impacted.
