GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Garbage and recycling collection in will be temporarily impacted by the NFL Draft.
The city’s Department of Public Works announced Thursday it is modifying pickups during the week of April 21-25. Officials say they are making the switch in anticipation that Green Bay’s west side routes will be difficult to access due to their proximity to the area where the NFL Draft is happening.
These changes will affect both the east and west sides of Green Bay in an effort to stay consistent.
Here’s when your garbage and recycling collection will occur during draft week:
- Monday, April 21: Normal Thursday routes will be collected
- Tuesday, April 22: Normal Friday routes will be collected
- Wednesday, April 23: Normal Wednesday routes will be collected
- Thursday, April 24: Normal Monday routes will be collected
- Friday, April 25: Normal Tuesday routes will be collected
Following the completion of draft week, garbage and recycling collection will go back to its regular collection schedule.
