TOWN OF EMPIRE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 52-year-old Plymouth man early Saturday morning.
A deputy tried pulling over a vehicle on State HWY 23 near CTY Rd. K because of speeding.
Deputies say the vehicle briefly pulled over, but then drove away into Fond du Lac.
The deputy then tried to do a pursuit.
Deputies say the suspect traveled between 30 and 40 mph and ran several red lights.
Deputies successfully put out stop stick devices on HWY 23 at Park Ave. but the vehicle continued.
Eventually, the vehicle stopped after hitting another stop stick on Amory Street after all four tires were deflated.
The 52-year-old Plymouth man was then arrested for felony fleeing and eluding.
The pursuit lasted about 3.5 miles and no people or deputies were injured.
