WAUPACA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Four traffic citations were issued after a pickup truck crashed into a stopped school bus.
The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Dept. issued Jordan Gilbo, 30, citations for non-registration of a vehicle, reckless driving – endangering safety, failing to stop for an unloading school bus, and operating while suspended. A March 26 court date has been scheduled, court records show.
No criminal charges have been filed for the Feb. 11 incident.
Video shows a pickup truck hauling a trailer crashing into the back of a stopped school bus on Highway 54 and Pine Street in the town of Royalton just before 4 p.m.
At the time of the crash two students had just gotten off the bus. One more student was getting off the bus during the crash, and one last student was still on the bus during the crash. No serious injuries were reported.
