KIEL, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Authorities are asking for the public’s help gathering information about a high-speed hit-and-run crash Thursday evening in Kiel that damaged a mailbox.
Officials say a vehicle was traveling eastbound on Raider Heights Road at a high rate of speed when it lost control, went up onto the curb and struck a mailbox and a plant. The vehicle then backed out onto the road and continued east.
It’s believed the crash happened between 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Thursday. At this point, police have no information about or description of the vehicle involved in the crash.
Police are asking the vehicle’s driver to come forward regarding the crash. Anyone who lives on Raider Heights Road or in the area is encouraged to check their security cameras to help put together information about the suspect’s vehicle.
