FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man wanted by U.S. Marshals was arrested after allegedly pointing a gun at a person in Fond du Lac Thursday night.
Police say the victim called 911 just after 11:45 p.m. She said there were five children, ranging from newborn to 13 years old, in the home on N. Butler Avenue.
Police responded with a SWAT, crisis negotiations and K-9 teams, a drone and robot group and an armored vehicle.
The suspect tried to leave the area in an Uber. He was arrested without incident and police found a gun.
The 31-year-old man from Chicago was wanted on a federal parole warrant for the possession of a machine gun and dangerous drugs. Police expect he will face additional charges in Fond du Lac County.
Police did not release the suspect’s name.
