OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Oshkosh Common Council voted unanimously Tuesday night to simplify a troublesome intersection.
The intersection in question, at Oshkosh Avenue and North Sawyer Street, will be turned into a four-way stop, officials decided.
A revamp of the intersection has been on the city’s wish list for a while. Recently, the city purchased properties north of Oshkosh Avenue, which will allow for changes to be made.
It’s unclear when work will begin, but city officials indicated the project likely won’t be complete until 2028.
