PORTERFIELD, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man died after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a house in Marinette County. Deputies say speed and alcohol appear to be factors.
At 10:50 p.m. Thursday, dispatch received a report of a one-vehicle crash at N5959 State Highway 180 in the Town of Porterfield. It was reported that a vehicle had crashed into a house.
Deputies say the driver, 23-year-old Brady Walters of Marinette, was traveling south on State Highway 180 when he lost control on a curve, entered the ditch and ultimately ended up crashing into a house.
Walters, who was not wearing a seatbelt, sustained fatal injuries, authorities say.
The incident remains under investigation.
