Zurich Simmons (Wisconsin DOC)
ALLOUEZ, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A Green Bay Correctional Institution inmate faces nearly two dozen charges for allegedly repeated exposing himself to female staff members.
Zurich Simmons, 47, had a balance of initial appearance Wednesday, where a signature bond was set. He returns to court March 17 for a status conference, as he does not have an attorney.
Simmons was charged with 23 counts of lewd and lascivious behavior for incidents between March 21 and June 13, 2023. The criminal complaint refers to as many as 89 incidents, but some were outside of the statute of limitations.
In each case, female prison staff members reported Simmons would intentionally expose and touch himself when they were present, the complaint states.
Charges were filed in June 2024.
Court records show Simmons has previous convictions for attempted sexual assault of a child and other charges.
