MARINETTE (WTAQ-WLUK) — A drone was used to find a missing man in Marinette.
Sheriff’s officials say just after 8 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported what they termed an “elderly” man missing on Carney Avenue.
City police responded, along with sheriff’s deputies, who used a drone with heat-sensing capabilities. The drone found a hot spot in some woods west of where the man had last been seen. He was found soon after and safely returned to family members.
