FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — With Christmas just around the corner, the Salvation Army of Fond du Lac says is kicking its fundraising campaign into high gear with a challenge.
The Salvation Army of Fond du Lac says it’s just under 50% of its goal so in order to raise more funds, donations through Dec. 31 will double up to $100,000, thanks to a host of stakeholders.
“The need for financial support is critical. Our entire community faces rising costs of day-to-day living, and many have a financial cushion to insulate the impact. We serve families who live paycheck to paycheck, with no safety net. Hard working parents who once had “just enough to make it” now have to go without themselves to keep up with the rising costs & cannot withstand a major expense or stay afloat thru a layoff,” Crystal Champeau, Social Services Manager at The Salvation Army said.
Campaign donations may be made:
Mailed/delivered to 237 N. Macy Street, Fond du Lac, WI 54935 earmarked “DOUBLE”
Texting FDL Kettle to 24365
Donating online to the Virtual Red Kettle
