GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A person was rescued after their car went into a Green Bay river.
Around 3:45 a.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle floating in the East River with a person trapped inside.
Upon arrival, the person had managed to get out of the car but was unable to reach the shore.
Firefighters were able to bring the individual to safety.
Officials did not say why or how the vehicle went into the water.
