MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Wisconsin hits a record number of voters in the November election.
Unofficial results released by the Wisconsin Elections Commission show that around 3.4 million people, or 72.6% of eligible voters in the state, cast ballots for the contests.
Though the state topped its all-time total number of voters, the percentage of voters was below the 72.9% of eligible voters who participated in the election in 2020, or the 2004 rate of 73.2%, which the commission says was the highest state turnout since at least 1948.
