(LEARFIELD) MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee Bucks coach Doc Rivers guarantees his team will make the NBA playoffs despite a 1-and-6 start to the season.
The Athletic reports Rivers speaks about the “very positive mindset” despite the current six-game losing streak.
Milwaukee is home tonight against the Utah Jazz.
The veteran coach says if the Bucks win three or four in a row and get the record to 5-and-6, they would have an 80-percent chance of making the postseason.
After meeting the Jazz, the Knicks, and the Celtics, seven of Milwaukee’s next 10 games are against teams that didn’t make the playoffs last season.
