(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – Packers rookie safety Evan Williams is off to a great start.
Williams, a rookie out of Oregon, talked about what has improved for him the most as a first year safety in the NFL.
Williams also talked about how much did bringing him along gradually help him.
As the near the halfway point of the season, are offenses starting to look more familiar to him?
The fourth-round pick was a second-team All-Pac 12 Conference selection in 2023 and led the Ducks in tackles with 82.
The NFL.com draft analysis of Williams describes him as a person who plays with the mindset of a linebacker with good stopping power, knows where entry points are located as a run defender in the box and rushes downhill to make hits on pass catchers.
