(ST. NORBERT COMMUNICATIONS) DE PERE – St. Norbert College was held to a goalless draw with Milwaukee School of Engineerinng in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference clash at Schneider Stadium.
The Green Knights were barraged with over 20 shots but stood tall to take away a point in the contest.
The Raiders had nine looks on goal in the first half, as Taylor Wilson was called upon to stop four of them. One of her saves was made on the goal line in a last-ditch effort off a header.
On offense, Haley Leadingham led the way, with both of her shots hitting on target. Abby Thompson also came close to converting an opportunity, with her attempt to the top right being saved.
St. Norbert was outshot 21-3, while the Raiders had all of the games corner kicks with 14.
Wilson made seven saves for St. Norbert, while Page Sanchez made three for the Raiders.
The point keeps the Green Knights alive in the NACC Tournament race, with St. Norbert in sixth place after tonight’s result. The final two conference games will be against Aurora University and Edgewood College.
