(LEARFIELD) – Damian Lillard had 30 points and 9 rebounds while Giannis Antetokounmpo added 25 points and 14 rebounds as the Milwaukee Bucks won their regular season opener in Philadelphia, defeating the 76ers 124-109.
It was the third straight season-opening win by the Bucks over Philly.
Bucks coach Doc Rivers said the Bucks played just like he stressed during the preseason.
Lillard pointed out how the Bucks were improved on defense.
All five Bucks starters scored in double figures in the win including 16 by Taurean Prince who made 6-of-16 for 16 points.
Doc Rivers talked about Prince’s debut.
The Bucks will play their home opener on Friday night against the Chicago Bulls.
The pre-game on Friday begins at 6:30 p.m. with tip-off just after 7 on 1440 and 101.9 WNFL.
