(WTAQ-WLUK) — A man has been indicted with several violent offenses on the Menominee Indian Reservation.
Court officials announced Wednesday that Nee Gee J. Cloud, 31, from Neopit, is facing counts of assault with intent to murder, burglary and domestic violence.
On or about Sept. 20, Cloud is accused of assaulting a woman with whom he was living at a location on the Menominee Indian Reservation.
Cloud allegedly stomped on the woman’s head and neck, rendered her unconscious, punched her repeatedly in the head and face, kicked her torso, and slammed her face into the floor. All of this resulted in lacerations and facial fractures to the woman, who was hospitalized for nearly a month.
Some of Cloud’s alleged actions were captured by an in-home camera system, a news release states.
If convicted on all three counts, Cloud faces a maximum of 40 years in prison and up to $750,000 in fines.
