(LEARFIELD) – Shortly after 11 this Saturday morning, the Wisconsin Badgers will take on the Northwestern Wildcats.
The Badgers will be going for their third straight win and Badgers coach Luke Fickell said that and the points the team has been able to put up against both Purdue and Rutgers is doe in part to the offensive line starting to figure out what their strength’s are.
Fickell said that the run game is a combination of running backs and offensive line.
As for Northwestern, Fickell said the Wildcats dominated them in the trenches last year.
He add that Northwestern is a very good football team.

- Wisconsin looks to avenge a 24-10 loss in Madison from last season. In the Badgers’ last trip to Evanston, UW rolled to a dominant 42-7 victory.
- Wisconsin’s 62 wins over Northwestern are its 2nd-most against any program, trailing only its 63 wins versus Minnesota.
- The series has been back and forth recently. Wisconsin holds a 17-16 edge in the series since 1985.
- Since 1993, this is just the 5th meeting between the two teams where neither team is ranked (26 total games).
