GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Governor Tim Walz will be making his first campaign stop in Northeast Wisconsin on Monday since being named to the Democratic ticket.
The Harris-Walz campaign says the visit will include stops in Green Bay and Eau Claire.
He will be in Eau Claire in the morning and will arrive at Green Bay’s Austin Straubel International Airport in the afternoon.
Additional details on the visit to Green Bay have not yet been released, but the campaign says the public will be required to RSVP to attend.
This will be Walz’s fifth campaign visit to Wisconsin.
Vice President Kamala Harris made her first campaign visit to our area last week when she visited Ripon with former Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney. It was also her fifth trip to the state since being named the party’s presidential nominee.’
For the Republican ticket, former President Donald Trump and Sen. J.D. Vance have each made one visit to Northeast Wisconsin this year. Trump was in Green Bay in April and Vance was in De Pere in August.
