(WTAQ-WLUK) — A Casco man was arrested Wednesday afternoon for his 4th OWI offense following a crash in Kewaunee County.
Officials say shortly before 12:30 p.m., a Wisconsin State Patrol trooper pulled over a vehicle that had been involved in a crashon County Highway K near Briar Patch Lane.
According to a news release, the trooper “observed signs of impairment” and an investigation showed the vehicle’s driver, 59-year-old Paul Rowell of Casco, was operating while under the influence.
Rowell was arrested and transported to a Green Bay hospital for an evidentiary blood test. He was then taken to the Kewaunee County Jail.
Authorities say this is Rowell’s 4th OWI offense.
