FOND DU LAC COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A traffic stop in Fond du Lac County resulted in the seizure of three pounds of methamphetamine and an arrest.
Just before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, a Fond du Lac County deputy and K9 officer were patrolling I-41 and saw a registration violation on a vehicle traveling north near Lost Arrow Road.
A traffic stop was initiated.
The K9 officer alerted to the odor of illegal narcotics coming from the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle turned up about 3.1 pounds of meth, deputies say.
The driver, a 34-year-old Chicago man, was taken into custody.
