FOX VALLEY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – It appears Vice President Kamala Harris is making her first visit to Northeast Wisconsin as the Democratic nominee for president.
The Democratic Party of Wisconsin has on its website that a rally with Harris will be held Thursday in the Fox Valley.
It provides a time range of 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The party’s page says an exact location for the visit is to be determined.
The visit will come two days after the candidates for vice president, Ohio Sen. JD Vance and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, have their first and only scheduled debate.
FOX 11 has reached out to the Harris campaign for more information.
As a key swing state in the November general election, Wisconsin has been a hotbed of political visits throughout the past several months. However, Northeast Wisconsin, in particular, has seen few appearances from top-of-ticket candidates.
Harris was most recently in Wisconsin on Sept. 20 for a campaign rally in Madison. Former President Donald Trump has been to Wisconsin for five rallies this year, including one in Green Bay in April.
