MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Lakeshore facility is receiving a $750,000 federal grant to help combat the fentanyl and opioid epidemic.
Core Treatment Services of Manitowoc is the grant recipient. U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin’s office says the money be used to serve people in Shawano, Menominee, Waupaca, Waushara, Green Lake and Manitowoc counties.
According to its website, Core Treatment Services is a 16-bed residential and day treatment center.
The grant comes from the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program-Impact program.
