BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Reservations are filling up fast for Brown County campgrounds during next year’s NFL Draft.
Brown County Parks are opening all campgrounds for the 2025 event, making more than 250 sites available for residents and non-residents alike. Beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, visitors planning to use an RV for their stay in Titletown were able to start booking campsites.
Parks Director Matt Kriese said by Tuesday evening, the Reforestation Camp is already about 75% booked.
Sites at the Brown County Fairgrounds are approximately 50% full, with the longer and high amp sites fully reserved and the remaining sites being closer to 30-40′ in length. So far, there hasn’t been much activity at Bay Shore County Park.
“The organizers of the event really want to make sure that the draft is unique to the destination. And what’s more unique to a Wisconsin destination than camping?” Discover Green Bay’s Vice President of Digital Marketing and Communications Nick Meisner.
“The hotel rooms are filled up. There’s a lot of options for Airbnbs, but what about all the people that have made that investment in the RVs that are sitting in their driveway? We’ve had calls from people all across the nation of people looking to travel with their RV to this area, to see the draft in a unique environment,” Kriese added.
Parks officials say NFL Draft campsite availability, rules, and pricing will be in effect from April 18-30. A three-night minimum stay is required during these dates. Campsites cost $100 per night, not including taxes and convenience fees. Payment must be made in full at the time of booking and reservations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Officials say propane tanks must be filled prior to arrive and utilized as the primary heat source. Fresh water holding tanks must also be filled prior to arrival.
Water may not be available at individual campsites or properties, depending on weather and potential freezing temperatures. Showers and restrooms will be available.
