(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – After much study during the pre-season of incumbent kicker Anders Carlson and free agent signee Greg Joseph, the Green Bay Packers after the final pre-season game decided that neither was a particularly good option heading into the regular season opener in a little more than a week against the Philadelphia Eagles.
So the Packers went shopping and found Brayden Narveson on the Tennessee Titans roster.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur said the team worked out at least five different kickers and settled on rookie Brayden Narveson.

LaFleur was also asked if having Titans rookie kicker Brayden Narveson affect his game decisions on 4th downs.
Meanwhile, in the quarterback room, Malik Willis who was acquired from Tennessee earlier this week will be Jordan Love’s backup at quarterback. The Packers say he’ll be ready to go for the season opener.
Does Willis think he can learn this offense fast enough to be the backup in Brazil in less than two weeks.
