STANLEY, WI (WSAU) Police are investigating a threatening note found in a Stanley-Boyd middle school girl’s bathroom stall. The note was found Thursday morning after a student reported the message and brought it to a teacher.
The police department is not releasing any information about what the note said.
Police are reviewing surveillance footage, and several students have been interviewed. It’s unclear if the note-writer has been identified.
Police described the incident as “not an active threat,” and classes continued normally yesterday without a lockdown at the school.
