DE PERE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The fairgrounds in De Pere are bustling as the annual Brown County Fair is underway.
The fair, which runs through Sunday, features a truck and tractor pull, rodeo and horse pull.
It kicked off Wednesday with the Demolition Derby.
There’s also dozens of rides, animals, entertainment, music, activities and food for the whole family to enjoy.

From 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, the fair and rides will go into quiet mode to accommodate those with sensory sensitivities.
“It’s a very family tradition, really trying to mix the country to the city and bring everyone together to really enjoy a good county fair and people who don’t get to see animals, pet animals, be able to see those and really enjoy just being together, bringing the community together,” said Brown County Fair administrator, Sheila Steinfeldt.
With rain in the forecast over the next few days, Steinfeldt says most of the fair will go on.
Friday and Saturday’s PRCA Rodeo will run, rain or shine, but organizers have canceled Thursday night’s truck and tractor pull due to the weather.
Updates on events will be posted to the fair’s Facebook page.
