GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The operator of a now-closed furniture store was sentenced Tuesday to 12 years, six months in federal prison on drug and weapons charges.
Christopher Turner previously pleaded guilty to three counts, including possession of fentanyl with intent to deliver.
Judge William Griesbach also placed him on supervised released for eight years after the prison term, court records show.
According to the charges, confidential informants arranged controlled buys of fentanyl from Turner on several occasions, including at Turner’s Furniture on College Avenue in Grand Chute.
In a related matter, Andrew Beverlin was convicted of purchasing a 9mm pistol for Turner, who was prohibited by law from owning a gun due to prior convictions. He was sentenced to 15 months in federal prison.
