GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A shooting victim who was dropped off at a hospital last week has died, and police are now investigating his death as a homicide.
Police on Tuesday identified the victim as Brandon Ramirez, 21, of Green Bay.
Investigators say Ramirez knew the person who brought him to the hospital last Wednesday afternoon, although police have not been able to figure out who that person is. Ramirez died on Friday. An autopsy was performed on Monday.
Police believe the shooting happened somewhere in the 1200 block of Berner Street on the city’s east side, but are still working to determine exactly where it took place. No arrests have been made.
Officers are looking for witnesses as well as security or doorbell camera video from the area.
