MARINETTE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Kaukauna woman was arrested Sunday for drug possession and operating while intoxicated, 4th offense.
It happened on U.S. Highway 41 at Deschane Avenue in Marinette County. Just before 5:30 p.m., a Wisconsin State Patrol trooper pulled over a vehicle for not stopping properly at a stop sign and for a registration decal violation.
Field sobriety testing was conducted and the driver, 44-year-old Tara Vanderloop of Kaukauna, was taken into custody for her 4th OWI offense. Officials say a child under the age of 16 was also in the vehicle with Vanderloop.
After a legal blood draw was taken at an area hospital, Vanderloop was booked at the Marinette County Jail.
Along with the OWI, she is also being charged with possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, psychedelic mushrooms and drug paraphernalia.
