APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Thunderstorms forecast to move through the Fox Valley are putting a damper on the first night of Mile of Music.
Festival organizers say they are calling off concerts set for Jones Park, Houdini Plaza and the Lawrence University lawn.
Some of the shows will be moved inside, organizers say. Festival-goers are encouraged to use the Mile of Music smartphone app for schedule updates.
Other outdoor stages may also have schedule changes as a result of the storms.
Forecasters are calling for dry, but hot weather for the rest of the festival.
