(247NEWSSOURCE) – The Brewers bashed the Braves 8-3 in their series opener from American Family Field in Milwaukee on Monday.
Willy Adames slugged a three-run homer – his 17th of the season – while Rhys Hoskins and Jackson Chourio also went deep.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about Adames.
Meanwhile, Adames talked about being nervous.
Hoby Milner earned the win in relief as Milwaukee has won back-to-back games to remain first in the NL Central at 61-and-45.
Murphy said there were a lot of key moments in the game.
The Cardinals are seven games behind.
