(WTAQ-WLUK) — Road work on County Highway N will impact motorists in Outagamie County this week.
Crews will be seal coating County N (S. Washington Street) beginning Wednesday, with anticipated completion Thursday. No parking will be allowed on Washington Street.
A news release from the Village of Kimberly says the road will remain open to traffic with lane closures and/or flagging operations.
Motorists traveling through the work zone are reminded to slow down and expect delays; however, drivers are encouraged to plan an alternate route, if possible.
Seal coating is a preventative measure that extends the life of asphalt pavements. It is completed by applying hot oil on the existing pavement asphalt surface, spreading loose chips over the surface and compacting it with a roller.
