(WNFL) -Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Freddy Peralta allowed 10 hits over 5 innings in a 5-2 loss to the Washington Nationals at American Family Field in Milwaukee on Friday.
Peralta struck out 6 but allowed 4 runs.
Milwaukee which is 4-7 in its last 11 games managed just 4 hits against 5 Nationals pitchers, scoring both runs off of starting pitcher Jackson Rutledge.
Those runs came in the fourth inning on a double by Willy Adames that scored William Contreras and a double by Sal Frelick that scored Adames.
Frelick had 3 of Milwaukee’s 4 hits.
Former Brewers player Jesse Winker had a double and home run and drove in 2 runs for the Nationals.
The 2 teams meet again Saturday afternoon with the first pitch at 3:10.
Dallas Kuechel will be the starting pitcher for Milwaukee while the Nationals will send Mitchell Parker to the mound.
