DODGE CO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says a man was life-flighted to a local hospital with a serious head injury after a crash in the county Saturday afternoon.
According to a press release, the crash happened on County Highway GI near N. Kohn Road, in the township of Lowell.
“A 45-year-old man from Brandon was flown from the scene with a serious head injury,” the release says.
The crash happened just after 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon; the motorcycle was westbound on County Highway GI when it failed to negotiate a curve and crashed.
“The operator was ejected from the motorcycle and was not wearing a helmet. Prior to being flown from the scene, the operator was placed under arrest for a misdemeanor OWI offense,” the sheriff’s office says.
