MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Wisconsin has more people working than at any time in its history.
Department of Workforce Development section chief, Scott Hodek, says the continued low unemployment rate is good for workers.
“If you’re looking for a job, now is a good time,” said Hodek. “We’re looking at about two job openings per per unemployed person.”
Over 3 million people are now employed in the state, and the unemployment level is at 2.9%, about a point below the national average.
