Crystal Anhalt of the Mishicot FFA Chapter was elected to a year of service as the 2024-2025 Section Nine State FFA Officer during the 95th Wisconsin FFA Convention. Her advisors are Jamie Propson and Katie Koeppel. Crystal’s parents are Scott and Angela Anhalt.
A 2022 graduate, Crystal attends the University of Wisconsin—River Falls where she is majoring in Agricultural Education. After student teaching, Anhalt hopes to be teaching somewhere in eastern Wisconsin, building a program and sharing her passion for agriculture and FFA with her students.
No stranger to hard work, Anhalt has developed four key supervised agricultural experience programs which include working on her family’s dairy farm, raising six hives of honeybees, educating second and third grade students about agriculture, and working for her school’s floral business. Crystal states that each project has served to challenge her to grow and learn more about herself, while developing a wide variety of career skills—including time management!
As a state FFA officer, Crystal looks forward to hearing FFA members tell their own unique stories and helping them be “the best version of themselves”. She especially looks forward to helping the youngest members of the organization find their footing and succeed: “Our future needs more leaders, and I would like to help support the young leaders so that they can keep growing and achieve their highest potential.”
