Taylor Maroszek of the Pulaski FFA Chapter was elected as the Section Eight State FFA Officer.
Taylor Maroszek of the Pulaski FFA Chapter was elected to a year of service as the 2024-2025 Section Eight State FFA Officer during the 95th Wisconsin FFA Convention. Her advisors are Cedric Pettis, Erin Montgomery, and Kaleb Santy. William and Barbara Maroszek are Taylor’s parents.
A 2024 graduate, Maroszek plans to attend Northeast Wisconsin Technical College to obtain associate degrees in both Photography and in Digital & Graphic Design. During that time, Taylor plans to continue working on the family farm, while also showing livestock. She also hopes to pursue an internship in livestock photography to combine two of her passions.
Taylor’s supervised agricultural experience project was born from her involvement on her grandparent’s fifth generation dairy farm, though her love focused more on the livestock piece of the agriculture industry, leading Maroszek to develop herds of over 45 swine, 50 beef cattle, and 25 sheep, which eventually grew to include 11 goats as well.
When asked what FFA experience challenged her most as a leader, Taylor reflected on an experience serving as a committee chair for her chapter’s haunted trail event. Maroszek said it was her responsibility to ensure that all voices were heard and that the team considered one another’s ideas. Learning to “roll with the punches and be flexible”, as Taylor put it, is one of many skills she will use as she helps lead the Wisconsin FFA throughout the next year.
